AWANA Journey

The founders of Awana derived the name from the first letters of "Approved workmen are not ashamed" as taken from 2 Timothy 2:15.
History of Journey
Introduced in the early 2000s as part of Awana’s Youth Ministries, Journey was designed to engage high school students (grades 9–12) with in-depth Bible study and discipleship. Building on Awana’s foundation from 1941, Journey equips teens to live out their faith, serving over 61,000 churches globally.
