AWANA - Save the Date

The founders of Awana derived the name from the first letters of "Approved workmen are not ashamed" as taken from 2 Timothy 2:15.
About Awana
Founded in 1941 by Lance Latham and Art Rorheim at North Side Gospel Center in Chicago, Awana began as a weekly club to engage children in Bible-based activities. Formalized in 1950, it has grown to serve over 61,000 churches worldwide, offering programs like Sparks, T&T, and Trek to foster faith through Scripture memory, games, and themed events.
